Board of Canvass Meeting
According to State law, the City Council must meet as the Board of
Canvass no later than two days following the election which would
be November 4 or 5. The meeting should last no longer than a few
minutes. The purpose of the meeting is to canvass the results of the
municipal general election which will include the races for Mayor,
Council Member Ward I and Council Member Ward 4. The park
referendum question will also be canvassed at this meeting.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Motion calling a special meeting for November 4 or 5 to canvass the
November 3 municipal election results.
