FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR
S.P. 71-613-08 AND S.P. 204-133-01
INFORMATION
Pursuant to the provisions of Title 23, United States Code, Section 125,
notice is hereby given that the City of Elk River is affording an opportunity
for a public hearing to discuss major design features and the social and
economic and environmental effects of the proposed improvements of Tyler
Street from the intersection of Tyler Street and CSAH 13 to 171st Avenue at
T.H. 10 in the City of Elk River, Minnesota.
The proposed improvement is to create a new transportation corridor in the
eastern portion of Elk River.
An Environmental Assessment which supports the determination that the
proposed action will have no significant effect on the quality of the human
environment, along with maps, drawings, and other pertinent information
relating to the project, will be available for pubhc inspection and copies will
be available at the Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway, Elk River,
Minnesota 55330. Wetland impacts are also discussed.
Any adult person wanting to request a pubhc hearing shall do so by signed
letter addressed to Sandra Peine, City Clerk, 13065 Orono Parkway, Elk
River, Minnesota 55330. Said letter must be postmarked no later than
November 23, 1998.
