Action Requested
Motion to approve a private kennel license to Kristina Cody-Thiem, 22279 Grant Street NW,to keep
four dogs and two cats,valid until December 31, 2014.
Background/Discussion
Kristina Cody-Thiem has made application for a private kennel license in order to keep four dogs and
two cats. Ms. Cody-Thiem has submitted all the necessary application materials and has successfully
completed a kennel inspection by the Police Department. Kennels are inspected annually prior to renewal
of the license to ensure that the applicant is meeting the requirement of the ordinance pertaining to
private kennels.
A Conditional Use Permit is not required for this license because the property is at least five buildable
acres in the R1 zoning district.
