AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE RECORD ENTRY CLERK
This is to inform the city council that we have completed the selection process for the Record
Entry Clerk position. Denise Lanthier, an Elk River resident, finished first in our selection
procedure. Denise currently works part-time Ibr the Plymouth Police Department as a record
entry clerk.
Denise has indicated she would be interested in working on a part-time basis to help us get caught
up with record entry. Some time in the next few months, we hope to increase her to full-time
employment as authorized by the city council.
I, therefore, recommend the hiring of Denise Lanthier as records clerk on a pm-time basis
contingent on her successfully passing a background check. I propose her starting pay to be at
the Grade 6 level, Step I ($12.80 per hour).
