I. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Elk River Parks and
Recreation Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Chair Anderson.
2. Discuss Parks Capital Improvement Fund and Prioritize Projects
Mr.Hecker presented his staff report regarding the Parks Capital Improvement
Fund and prioritizing the projects.
Commission members preferred the following list as the order of importance.
1. Trail repairs and connections ($100,000)
2. Parks Master Plan ($45,000)
3. Parks Master Plan Needs Assessment ($15,000)
4. Playground Safety($6,000)
5. Orono Park Improvements ($51,000)
6. YAC well and irrigation ($35,000)
7. Dog Park irrigation and trees ($6,000)
8. Forrest Management ($9,000)
9. Culvert and trail improvement ($9,000)
3. Adjournment
There being no further business, Chair Anderson adjourned the meeting of the Elk
River Parks and Recreation Commission at 8:12 p.m.
