SUBJECT: Recommend Member of the Commission to Serve on the Ice
Arena Commission
The membership of the Ice Arena Commission includes a representative from the Park and
Recreation Commission. The most recent member of the Commission to serve on the
Arena Commission was David Briggs who has since resigned from the Commission.
Staff requests that the Commission select a member or members interested in serving on the
Ice Arena Commission. The Commission typically meets twice per year,unless business
requires an additional meeting. The next meeting of the Ice Arena Commission will be in
April. The City Council will select or appoint a member for a three-year term to the Arena
Commission at their March 18, 2003 meeting.
