SUBJECT: Major Park Use— Hillside City Park
Request
The Twin Cities Unicycle Club has requested use of Hillside Park for August 3, 2003 from
11:00am to 9:00pm for the mountain unicycling portion of the North American Unicycling
Championships. They expect 150-200 people to take part in this event. Please refer to the
attached application for additional information.
Staff believes this park use request qualifies as a "Major Park Use".
A representative from the Club will be in attendance to answer any questions the
Commission may have.
Recommendation
Per the adopted Park Use Application the Park and Recreation Commission is responsible
for reviewing and determine the fees and deposit for this use. The maximum deposit level is
$500 and there is no limit on fees for a major park use.
