SUBJECT: Major Park Use — NDSU Cycling Club
Request
Brandon Charboneau with the NDSU Cycling Club is requesting the use of Hillside Park for
a Collegiate Race on Sunday, September 7 from l0am-3pm. They would like to set up either
the evening of the 6th or early Sunday morning before the race. They are expecting 30-50
people to attend.
Information for your consideration
• This is a non-resident group.
• The Recreation Department has no history with this group/event.
Staff Recommendations
• Staff will contact the BLAST group to let them know about this event and to request
that they post it on their website.
• The NDSU Cycling Club should coordinate signage with the Parks and Streets
Department.
• All participants should be required to have a daily pass to Hillside Park.
• A$100 deposit be paid 14 days prior to the event (August 24th).
