SUBJECT: Consider Park Dedication for AS 03-04 - Rodney and Clara
Anderson
Request
The Commission is asked to consider park dedication for a two-lot administrative
subdivision.

Analysis
The subject property is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Manor Place
and Morton Avenue. Located on the property is a single-family dwelling unit and a detached
garage. The property totals .91 acres.
The applicant proposes to split the property into two parcels;Parcel A for the existing house
totaling.36 acres, and Parcel B containing the detached garage totaling.55 acres. The
subject property is not located within a neighborhood park area, nor is it large enough to
justify requesting land dedication. Cash dedication for one lot appears to be the appropriate
solution.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Park and Recreation Commission recommend the City accept
cash dedication for one lot for the administrative subdivision request.
