SUBJECT: Consider Change in Meeting Time
For a number of years the Park and Recreation Commission has met at 7:00 p.m. on the
second Wednesday of every month. The City's remaining commissions have an earlier
meeting start, some of which meet as early as 5 p.m.in the evening. The City Council,
Planning Commission, and Heritage Preservation Commission all start at 6:30 p.m. Staff
would like to discuss the merit of changing the Park and Recreation Commission meeting
start time to 6:30 p.m. in order to be consistent with the remaining city commissions. This
change could begin as early as the January meeting,or could be delayed until our return to
City Hall and to cable television.

SUBJECT: Status of Park Boundary Signs Installations
Below is a list of parks that should have had park boundary signs installed by the developer.
Staff sent letters to the appropriate developers on October 10, 2003 indicating that these
improvements need to be completed by November 21, 2003 or city staff will install them
and developer be billed accordingly.

Staff visited the parks December 3'd and found that 4 of 6 parks have had the park boundary
signs installed.
