Accept Resignation of Library Board Member
Item # 3.4.
Wendy Borrett has resigned from the Library Board effective January 2004. Two open
positions on the Library Board now exist with her resignation and staff will advertise.
ACTION REQUESTED
A motion to accept Wendy Borrett's resignation from the Library Board.

Dear Library Board Members,
This is a personal note to you all and not "mail" for your board meetings.
I am writing to apologize to you for not contacting you in person regarding my decision to resign my
position as a Library Board Member. I was overwhelmed in my personal life at the time of my decision
and had just taken a new job. Combined, these things made it impossible for me to continue to be a
board member. I regret I can not be a part of the future of the Library Board and wish you great
success with all the plans you have for keeping our Library a wonderful place to learn and grow.
You are a wonderful group of women and I had looked forward to getting to know you all better. If
there is a time when you need volunteer help for one of your projects please let me know. Now that
life has settled down I would be happy to help if I can.
