2014 American Public Power Association Legislative Rally
DISCUSSION:
The 2014 American Public Power Association Legislative Rally in Washington, D.C. was held
March 10— 12. The Minnesota municipal utilities meet with our elected officials on the last day
of the event. This is an opportunity to take the stories from Main Street Elk River and Minnesota
directly to our elected officials with the aggregate support of municipal public power. During
this rally's Legislative and Resolutions Committee, ERMU has the opportunity to vote on
APPA's policy on legislation, regulation, and other federal issues. A verbal update on the event
will be provided to the Commission.
