SUBJECT: Accept Resignation from Planning Commissioner Tom Mesich
We received the attached letter from Tom Mesich, indicating his resignation from the
Planning Commission effective June 25, 2002. Tom is moving out of the City of Elk River,
as MN/DOT is acquiring his property for the County Road 33/169 interchange.
Staff recommends that the City Council accept Tom's resignation with regrets.

Dear Mayor Klinzing:
Due to the fact that we are moving out of the City of Elk River, I will be resigning from
the Planning Commission. The June 2002 meeting will be my last meeting. I have truly
enjoyed my time on the Commission and hope that we have helped plan a successful
future for Elk River. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
