Background/Discussion
At the March meeting, the EDA directed staff to obtain an appraisal of the Yale Court property, as well
as complete a feasibility study for the development of the street connection between Yale Court and
170th, associated with the implementation of the FAST study.
Since then, the EDA has retained the services of Home Value Appraisals to complete the appraisal; the
report should be completed prior to the May EDA meeting.
Also, the City Engineer will include the necessary engineering work for the street connection in his
request for proposal for engineering services as part of the 2015 street construction project, expected to
be advertised in the next two weeks.
Financial Impact
Appraisal cost was quoted at 3,500.
No estimate for the engineering work has been developed.
