Staff received the attache~l petition from property owners living east of Cleveland Street in
eastern Elk River. Their Oequest is for sewer and water services as soon as possible.
Recommendation ~
Staff recommends that th~ City Council reject the petition and direct staff to send a letter to
each pem, gner w~th the p~oper petition form, and an application for a land use amendment
and zone change. The letter should indicate that until completion of the Wastewater
Treatment Plant Master 17 [an, it is unlikely that their petition and application would be
approved by the City Cot acil.
