SUBJECT: Update on 2001 Public Works Building Improvements
BREAKROOM:
The improvements to the mezzanine over the office area in the street garage that have been
completed are:
· Concrete floor leveling
· Cut in 4 windows
· Cut in new outside access door
· ' Build stairway for outside door
· Install new HVAC system
· Frame and sheet rock separation wall
· Install kitchen type counters, cupboard and sink
· Install 2 mop sinks and a wash-up sink
· Additional electrical outlets
· Paint walls and ceiling

Paint the floor
Build a bookcase
Purchase a screen for overhead visuals
The budget estimate was $42,000 and our costs to date are $39,411 leaving $2,589 to
complete the project.
MECHANICAL SHOP:
Improvements that have been completed in the west end of our building:
· Purchase new vehicle hoist (ordered)
· Purchase new light bulbs
· Cut in 3 new overhead doors

Since many items are not completed yet, I don't have accurate cost figures just yet, but my
prediction is that we should come in close to our original budget.
