Councilmember Wilson introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 14- 23
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
W H E R
ES, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
1 ganlzati
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $1,757.92 donation from the Elk River
Ministerial Association with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department
for park improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and con-iniend the Elk River Ministerial Association for
their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Moon and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor John J. Dietz, Councilmembers Stewart Wilson, Matt Westgaard, Barbara Burandt ar
and the following against: none whereupon said Paul Motin
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor John J. Dietz Councilmembers Stewart Wilson,
Matt Westgaard, Barbara Burandt, and Paul Motin
and the following absent: none,
