A Resolution of the City of Elk River Appointing Election judges for the
2014 Elections
WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 204B.20 and 2048.21, the City Council shall
officially approve the appointment of election judges;and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River City Council hereby adopts the judges listed on Exhibit
A,hereto attached, as the official judges for the August 12, 2014, State Primary, and the
November 4, 2014, General Election,with the understanding that changes may be necessary
to the appointments in order to fill vacancies and meet party balance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River,Minnesota, as follows: that the names listed on Exhibit A, attached hereto, are the
official election judges for the City of Elk River State Primary on August 12,2014, and the
General Election on November 4,2014, and the City Council further authorizes the city
clerk to appoint additional judges as needed.
Passed and adopted this 16'h day of June 2014.
