Councilmember Wilson iiari()dUced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
ResoWtion 14- 30
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging ContHbutions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community,and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $9,950 donation from Midwest Landscapes
for up to 20 trees with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for
park improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Midwest Landscapes for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof-
Mayor Dietz Councilmembers Wilson Westgaard, Burandt and Motin
and the following against: None ,whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Westgaard, and Motin
and the following absent: None
