Councilmember- Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 14-32
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Aeknowiedging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the amount of$4,140.00 from
various individuals and organizations as itemized on Exhibit A,attached hereto,with the
intent they be used to fund the Independence Day fireworks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the individuals and organizations who
donated.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counciltnember
Wilson , and upon vote being taken,thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Councilmembers West aard Wilson Burandt Motin and Mayor Dietz
and the following against: No one ,whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Westgaard, Wilson
Burandt, and Motin
and the following absent: No one
Passed and adopted this 7h day of July, 2014.
