PRSR 02-14-2001 /( Item #6. amity of Elk River MEMORANDUM TO: Park & Recreation Commission FROM: Michele McPherso irector of Planning DATE: February 14, 2001 SUBJECT: Riverplace Park Informational Meeting The neighborhood adjacent to Riverplace Park has been invited to the February 14, 2001 Commission meeting in order to review the playground design developed by Earl F. Anderson Company. The playground has been designed with three "pods", one each for the toddler play structure, swings, and the 5-12 year play structure. A six-foot wide sidewalk will surround the pods and a small shelter is proposed for the center of the area. Staff will also review the additions to the Barrington Place playground also proposed as part of the 2001 park improvements.
