Request
The Commission is asked to provide input to representatives from the River's
Edge Chamber of Commerce and the Department of Natural Resources
regarding construction of a fishing pier on the Mississippi River in downtown Elk
River.

Analysis
Representatives from the River's Edge Chamber of Commerce have begun
discussions with the Department of Natural Resources regarding construction of
a fishing pier on the Mississippi River in downtown Elk River. They are in the
early concept stages of the design and desire to have input from the
Commission. Please provide any input as appropriate to these representatives.
