Subject: Park and Rec Agenda
We are trying to restore two small wetlands in Woodland Trails Park for a biology project
through Mr. Niziolek's A.P. Biology Class. The two adjacent wetlands have been drained
by a single drainage tile which empties into a stream. We would like to remove that
drainage tile, or portions of it, plug it, and restore the wetland. Paul Soler, who works in
Sherburne County for the Fish and Wildlife Service, restores wetlands through his
program. He has agreed to do the ground work, but the restoration needs to be approved.
