Request
The Commission is asked to recommend park dedication requirements for Administrative
Subdivision AS 01-05 by Sharon Bauer. The request will create two parcels,Parcel A and
• Parcel B.

Location
The property is located 'A mile east of the intersection of County Road 31 (Viking
Boulevard) and County Road 13 on the south side of Viking Boulevard.
Analysis
The subject property is approximately 10 'h acres in area and is proposed to be split into
approximately equal parcels,Parcel A and Parcel B. There is an existing house located on
the parcel.
A review of the Master Park Plan in this area indicates that no neighborhood or area wide
parks are identified on the subject parcel;however,a parcel has been identified to the north
as a community or athletic complex park.

• Staff recommends that the most appropriate form of park dedication for this request would
be cash.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Park and Recreation Commission recommend to the City
Council that park dedication be in cash for one lot.
