Councilmember Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 14- 35
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community, and
WHEREAS, flie City of Elk Diver received donations in the year 2014 (January through
June) from various individuals and organizations as itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths,
vote, to acknowledge the support and coma-end these individuals and organizations for their
donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilinember
Wilson , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ma Dietz. Councilmembers Wilson, Westgaard, Burandt, and Motin
and the following against: none whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor John J. Dietz.,,—Councilmembers Stewart
Wilson, Matt Westgaard, Barbara Burandt, and Paul Motin
and the following absent: none
Passed and adopted this 21 day of July 2014.
