SUBJECT: Meet with Jim Nystrom - Sherburne County Zoning Administrator
Mr. Jim Nystrom has requested to speak with the Park and Recreation
Commission regarding the interest the Commission may have in forming a
regional park coalition for East Sherburne County. The purpose of the coalition
would be to develop a regional park plan, identify trail corridors and lobby for
funds from various sources. In preliminary conversations with Mr. Nystrom, he
indicated that potential coalition members may include representatives from
Wright County, Elk River and townships located in the eastern part of Sherburne
County.
• Recommendation
It is recommended that the Park and Recreation Commission listen to Mr.
Nystrom's presentation and provide any feedback that is appropriate.
