SUBJECT: Estimate to Survey Outlot A— Lafayette Woods
City Engineer, Terry Maurer, has provided two estimates to survey Outlot A,
Lafayette Woods.
• Estimate 1 - $7,000 —This survey would be completed during "leaf-on"
conditions during the summer.
• Estimate 2 - $5,000 —This survey would be completed in the fall, once
the leaves have dropped from the trees.
• This item was not included as part of the capital improvements budget for
2000, however, the Commission could recommend to the City Council that
this money be expended as part of the money budgeted for development of
undeveloped parks.
Recommendation
Staff requests that the Park and Recreation Commission provide direction to staff
to regarding the timing of the survey of Outlot A, Lafayette Woods, and provide a
recommendation to the City Council to spend the funds to complete the survey
work.
