SUBJECT: Joint Park & Rec/Planning Commission Meeting
July 12th has been scheduled for a joint meeting between the Planning and the
Park & Recreation Commissions. The Planning Commission will be in
attendance at 8:00 p.m. to discuss a wide range of subjects relating to planning
and parks and recreation. Two specific topics that were brought up, one from
each commission, include:
• 1. The philosophy of small neighborhood parks versus larger neighborhood
parks.
2. The preservation of trees in development projects and on park lands.
If there are any other issues that either commission would like to discuss, please
let me know at 441-4902.
