PRSR 08-09-2000 ,--(./ ( X Item #9.B.1. t.ityof lk • River MEMORANDUM TO: Park & Recreation Commission FROM: Michele McPherson;Director of Planning DATE: August 9, 2000 SUBJECT: Administrative Subdivision Case No. AS 00-5 by the City of Elk River The City of Elk River proposes to subdivide Lot 1, Block 1, Country Crossing Business Center 2nd Addition into two approximately equal parcels. The purpose of the subdivision is to create two buildable lots for two proposed buildings; a multi-tenant building for investment purposes and a single tenant building proposed to be home to Track of the Wolf, a company which is relocating from Osseo and owned by an Elk River couple. This property was platted a number of years ago, however, park dedication fees were not collected at that time, as they • were not required. As this is now being subdivided, the City will pay park dedication fees for 4.3 acres at a rate of$2,000 per acre. This will be paid by the Economic Development Authority.
