A. Land Use Cases
1. Park in Trout Brook Farms
The barn was moved on July 25, 2000. Some minor carpentry work is being
completed and the barn will be sealed for the winter as staff prepares for spring
improvements so that it can be utilized for programming by Community Recreation.
2. Status of Charest Mississippi Parcel
• Mr. Charest is in the process of restoring the site per the approved plan. This parcel
may be acquired by Mr. Scott Powell who is in the preliminary process of creating a
development on the west side of Highway 10 at 171'Avenue. Acquisition of the
Charest parcel is on hold as we may be able to obtain some or all of this parcel
through park dedication.
B. Park/Trail Developments •
1. Devine Barn
The Commission will have viewed a video of the barn moving.
2. Becker Pedestrian Path
For your interest, an article regarding the implementation of a path in Becker along
Edgewood Street.
3. Shoreview Trail
For your information, an article on the trail program in Shoreview.
