SUBJECT: 2001 Retreat and Tentative Agenda
The January 2000 retreat appeared to be very successful. Staff proposes to
schedule a similar retreat in January 2000 in order to establish a work plan and
goals/objectives for 2001. Staff is interested in determining if the Commission
would like to conduct both a Saturday retreat and a regular meeting in January
2001.
• The tentative date for a retreat has been identified as January 6, 2001. The
following items are proposed as tentative agenda items:
1. Review 2000 goals and objectives and determine accomplishments.
2. Set goals and objectives for 2001.
3. Review the 10-Year Capital Improvements budget, as well as the 2001
proposed budget and activities.
4. Review Regional Park Coalition workplan.
5. Discuss televising Commission meetings.
Action Requested
The Commission is asked to 1) consider the tentative retreat date, 2) identify
whether the Commission wishes to conduct two meetings in January 2001, and
3) identify if there should be any items added or deleted for the tentative agenda.
