Councilmember Mbtin introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 14- 40
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups,organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community;and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the year 2014 Uanuary through
June) from various individuals and organizations as itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend these individuals and organizations for their
donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Wilson, Westgaard, and Motin
and the following against:none ,whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: "or John J. Dietz, Councilmembers Stewart Wilson,
Matt Westgaard. and Paul Motin
and the following absent: Councilmember Barbara Burandt
Passed and adopted this 4" day of August 2014.
