Counciltriember Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 14- 47
A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received donations in the amount of$2,778.73 frorn
various individuals and organizations as itemized on Exhibit A, attached hereto,with the
intent they be used to fund the Independence Day fireworks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acluio-%vledge the support and commend the individuals and organizations who
donated.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmerilber
Milawl , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor the-teof.

resolution was declared duly passed and adopted,
