FROM: Michele McPhersot Director of Planning
DATE: August 4, 1999
SUBJECT: Cross Country Running Race
Request
We received the attached memo in June regarding the cross country running race for
October 1, 1999 at Woodland Trails Park. It is possible that they will be using the golf
course for the actual race, however, they may use the park parking lot for support
activities.
A motion supporting the race would be appropriate. The Commission may want to
recommend that the High School use the cautionary signage on the railroad trail.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Park and Recreation Commission support the Cross Country
Running Race.
