Councilmember Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution B 4- 53
A Resolution of the City of Elk River acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $3,500 donation from the Elk River Rotary
Club with the intent it be used by Elk River Parks and Recreation for the purchase and
installation of two benches at Bailey Point Nature Reserve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council,by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend the Elk River Rotary Club for their
donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Moton , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Dom, CQztncilmembera burandr, Matia, and West rd
and the following against: None ,whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
