Supplemental Memo MEMORANDUM TO: Mayor and City Council FROM: Chris Leeseberg, Planner~_~ DATE: March 15, 2004 SUBJECT: Case No. GP 04-03 Request by Linder's for General Planning Permit - Temporary Greenhouse/Garden Center Request Linder's is requesting a slight change from the original submitted application. They want to expand the area of display to include 20 more feet of space~.north of the original proposal. Overview This change was in response to the applicant meeting with the Fire Chief to address condition # 1 of the recommendation. The revised plan accomplishes condition # 1 and the Fire Chief had no concerns with the request. The additional area does eliminate an additional 15 parking stalls but does not impede vehicular traffic. Recommendation Staff recommends that the City Council approve Linder's supplemental request for a general planning permit to allow a temporary greenhouse/garden center with the following conditions: 1. NO ELECTRICAL SERVICES SHALL BE ACROSS ANY DRIVE OR WALKING SURFACE. 2. IF TRAFFIC BECOMES A PROBLEM AROUND THE TEMPORARY SITE, THE SALES AREA SHALL BE DELINEATED WITH A BARRIER TO RESTRICT TRAFFIC.
