A Resclu6on of the pity of Mk River Adep ping the 20 D 4 Comprehensive Plan
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized an update of the City of Elk River
Comprehensive Plan on March 3, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, the process of updating the Comprehensive Plan followed the procedures
required by Minnesota Statutes, and included the participation of a 10-member Citizen
Advisory Committee and multiple public meetings, all as set forth in the Introduction
chapter of the 2014 Comprehensive Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council held public hearings on the 2014 Comprehensive Plan on
March 17, 2014,April 21,2014, and May 5, 2014.
HEREAS, the City Council approved by motion the Comprehensive Plan on May 19,
2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 9T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, that 2014 Comprehensive Plan is hereby adopted.
Passed and adopted this 6th day of October, 2014.
