A Resolution of the 0ty of Elk Mver Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received an $11,000 donation from Midwest
Landscapes with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for park
improvements. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least a four - fifths
vote, acknowledges the support and commends Midwest Landscapes for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Wilson, Burandt, West aard, and Motin
and the following against: none , whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor John J. Dietz, Couneilmembers Stewart Wilson
Barbara J. Burandt Matt West aard and Paul Motin
and the following absent: no one.
Passed and adopted this 3=d day of November 2014.
