A Resolution of the City of Elk River Establishing Parking Restrictions on
Particular Municipal State Aid Routes
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River has planned the improvement of 165 'Avenue NW and
Jarvis Street NW, State Aid Route No. 135, State Aid Project No. 204-135-001, from 1145'
east of TH 10 to the intersection of Jarvis Street NW and TH 10;and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River will be expending Municipal Street Aid Funds on the
improvements of these streets;and
WHEREAS, these improvements do not provide adequate width for parking on both
sides of these streets; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid
Street project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River,Minnesota, as follows:
That the City shall ban the parking of motor vehicles at all times on:
1) The north and south sides of 165 'Avenue NW,State Aid Route No. 135,State
Aid Project No. 204-135-001, from 1145' east of TH 10 to Jarvis Street NW;and
2) The east and west sides of Jarvis Street NW, State Aid Route No. 135, State Aid
Project No. 204-135-001, from 165"'Avenue NW to TH 10.
