Proclaim January 5, 2015, as Bradley Rolfe Day in the City of Elk River
Background/Discussion
After 33 years of faithful service to the community of Elk River, Police Chief Brad Rolfe retired, effective
December 30, 2014.
During his employment, Chief Rolfe has held nearly every position available in the Police Department
and has profoundly and positively impacted every officer and staff member of the department, and served
as a tremendous resource, mentor, and friend to the entire city management team.
We wish Brad the best of luck in all of his new endeavors.

PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Bradley Rolfe has retired from the Elk River Police Department after 33 years
of service to the community; and
WHEREAS, Brad has earned the respect and friendship of his peers, co-workers, and the
community; and
WHEREAS, for his dedicated service to the community, the Elk River City Council, fellow
employees, and citizens of the community extend their sincere appreciation to Brad and wish
him a long,happy, and healthy retirement!
THEREFORE,I,John J. Dietz,Mayor of the City of Elk River, do hereby proclaim
