Background/Discussion
Schedule
Below is the initial recent schedule that was created to bring forward the plan for a Commission
recommendation and City Council approval.
November 12
The Commission reviewed Chapter 5 Initiatives and Recommendations during a work session and indicated
changes/additions they would like implemented.
December 1
The City Council will be given a brief presentation by HKGi and will be asked to provide feedback and
direction on the plan.
December 3
A special meeting will be held for the Commission to continue reviewing the plan.
December 10
The earliest date the Commission could make a recommendation to approve plan.
December 15
This is the original date cited for City Council to approve the plan. At this time, the earliest date for City
Council approval will be in early 2015. During the November 12,2014 meeting,the Commission
indicated they needed more time to review the plan at several work sessions.
Financial Impact
The Parks and Recreation Master Plan will have cost estimates for many of the recommendations.
