Discussion of request to hold a fundraiser at Lion John Weicht Park.
Approval by motion for Great River Family Promise to hold a fundraiser at Lion John Weicht Park with
the following provisions:
• Park rental fee be waived.
• Damage deposit of$250.
• Group will pay cost of extra items such as portable toilets, trash pick-up.
• Group will cover the cost of Lions Park Center building attendant.
• Quite hours for activities will be from 10:00 p.m. —6:00 a.m. per park hour's ordinance.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
• Great River Family Promise has requested the use of Lion John Weicht Park in order to host a
fundraiser event.
• Approximately 500 participants are expected.
• This event is intended to raise funds for programs that support homeless awareness programs.
• This is a first year event.
