Approve, by motion, the continuation of Jeremy Barnhart, Interim Executive Director for the Economic
Development Authority.
Background/Discussion
The EDA Bylaws require the appointment of an Executive Director at the Annual Meeting of the EDA.
Historically, the Executive Director has been the Director of Economic Development. With the position
currently vacant, staff suggests appointing Jeremy Barnhart Interim Executive Director for the Economic
Development Authority. The final appointment of the Executive Director would occur at the successful
conclusion of the Economic Development Director probationary period, once that position is filled.
