SUBJECT: Authorization to Hire Part Time Receptionist at City Recreation
I am requesting authorization to hire Shah Pikkaraine for the part time Receptionist position. We
received over 20 applications and staff interviewed 6 candidates. This position would begin January 2,
2002 as a Grade 4 Step A with a rate of pay beginning at $10.43/hr. Shah lives in the area and has
worked as a seasonal program employee for us over the past few years and has more than 10 years of
experience in receptionist and clerical positions.
