Councilmember Wagner introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
Resolution 15- o4
A Resolution of the 0ty of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $1,000 donation from Joanne McChesney in
memory of her husband, Jerry, with the intent it be used by Parks and Recreation for Senior
Center activities.
NOVA', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four -fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend Joanne McChesney on behalf of her late
husband, Jerry, for her donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councihnember
Westgaard , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Olsen, Burandt, Westgaard, and Waener
and the following against: none , whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

Barbara J. Burandt, Matt Westgaard, and Jennifer Wanner
and the following absent: none
