SUBJECT: Hillside Estates 8th and 9th
Concept Plan
Issue
The Park and Recreation Commission is requested to review the concept
plans for Hillside Estates 8th and 9th.
Overview
The developer (Rick Foster) of Hillside Estates has presented concept plans
for the next additions of the Hillside Estates Planned Unit Development.
Later this month a preliminary plat application will be submitted along with
the plats which will be presented to the Park & Recreation Commission next
month before going to the Planning Commission. However, prior to making
the preliminary plat submittal, staff felt it would be worthwhile for the Park
& Recreation Commission to review the concept plans to provide any input
for the developer to adjust the plans prior to a formal submittal.
Attached are the minutes from a previous Park & Recreation Commission
meeting which included discuss regarding park and trail development in the
Hillside Estates PUD. The Commission may want to use the previous
meeting's discussion as a starting point to give some direction to the
developer as to the park needs in this area.
Recommendation
It is recommended the Park & Recreation Commission review the concept
plans and provide some direction for the developer to prepare his plans
accordingly for submittal of a preliminary plat application.
