Background/Discussion
The Bank of Elk River has contributed funds to support special events and programs operated by the Elk
River Parks and Recreation Department.
Attached is a resolution acknowledging and recognizing The Bank of Elk River for their contribution.
Representatives from The Bank of Elk River will be in attendance.
Financial Impact
The financial contribution was in the amount of $14,000.

Councilmember _______________ introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:

A Resolution of the City of Elk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS,
the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS,
the City of Elk River received a $14,000 donation from The Bank of Elk
River with the intent it be used by the Elk River Parks and Recreation Department for
community events including the Riverfront Concert Series, Farmers Market, and
Entertainment in the Park Series.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend The Bank of Elk River for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
______________, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
