I. Call Meeting to Order
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the work session meeting of the Elk River
Parks and Recreation Commission was called to order at 8:04 p.m. by Chair
Anderson.
2. Capital Improvement Plan work session
Consultant Lil Lathem of Hoisington Koegler Group Inc. (HKGi) shared and led
• discussion of Chapter 5 of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
Commissioners were led through a draft copy of Chapter 5: How We Get There which
includes the following initiatives,improve existing parks and facilities,maintain park
assets at a high level, strengthen trail connections, connect to the rivers,provide
engaging recreational programming for the entire community,and preserve natural
resources and greenways.
3. Adjournment
There being no furtl er business,Chair Anderson adjourned the work session
meeting of the El e River Parks and Recreation Commission at 10:04 p.m.
