Park of the Month
Each month, the Park and Recreation Commission selects several parks for
planning staff to study. Several concepts of each park are developed for the
Park and Recreation Commission to review. The Park and Recreation
• Commission reviews the concepts and endorses one or a combination of
several. Once endorsed, the neighborhoods near the park are invited to view
the endorsed concept and make comments.
Estimates
The next step in the Park of the Month process is to estimate the costs of
improving endorsed park plans to assist with park bond referendum
discussions. Attached for your review, are preliminary estimates for several
endorsed park concept plans.
