Councilmember Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:

A Resolution of the 0ty of Mk River Acknowledging Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $50,000 donation from The Trust for Public
Land with the intent it be used by the Parks and Recreation Department for improving,
preserving and restoring the Houlton Farm Property Conservation Area. .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four - fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend The Trust for Public Land for their
donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Wagner , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Olsen, Westgaard, Burandt, Wagner, and Mayor Dietz
and the following against: none , whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The following members were present: Mayor John J. Dietz, Council-members Jerry Olsen,
Matt Westgaard, Barbara Burandt, and Jennifer Wagner
and the following absent: none
